Courtney Murphy Creative Director

I am a cross-platform creative director and group leader with a deep background working with both legacy brands and start ups. I thrive on building strong, multi-disciplinary teams of designers and art directors that work collaboratively, and who teach me as much as I teach them.

I believe in clearly defined brand visions and in building an audience-first, clean design aesthetic. I have made a career reimagining and redesigning trusted and influential brands such as Reader’s Digest, Prevention, Good Housekeeping, AARP, and The Independent on Sunday.

My strength is helping companies to grow and diversify their audience. My focus is on building multi-platform branded experiences that entertain, engage, and surprise – and that maximize engagement across video, web, social media, and print mediums.

I am a natural self-starter and I strive for a constant state of personal growth and professional development. I am an award-winning creative with dozens of design, photography, and illustration awards from the Society of Publication Designers (SPD) and American Illustration-American Photography (AI-AP). I am a very happy storyteller.
